Winter Plum Tree

A poem from the oldest extant collection of Japanese poems, the Man'yoshu, from the eighth century. I originally printed this as one of four seasonal bookmarks drawn from the anthology, but felt the words required more space around them, so printed it as here, where the white background can be the snow.
