Pale Blue Dot

In 1990, just before the Voyager I space probe left our solar system, it was turned to take a final photograph of the Earth, as seen from a distance of 3.7 billion miles, from where it appears only as an almost invisible speck in deep space. The is part of the astronomer Carl Sagan’s commentary on the photograph, which I have printed as a blue circle in an unknown 8pt typeface with, happily, just enough v’s for the many instances of the word ‘every’ which occur throughout.

13 x 19 cm. Printed on 250 gsm Somerset printing paper.
