Long Live the Weeds and the Wilderness Yet

Long Live the Weeds and the Wilderness Yet

'Long live the weeds and the wilderness yet.' The words are drawn from Gerard Manley Hopkins' poem, Inversnaid (1881). One of a number of cards I printed with some original copper blocks of Victorian decorative initials (see also Coleridge's The Eolian Harp). Here, the 'W' has bees flying into their nest in the hops that surround the letter.

Printed on 250 gsm recycled card. Comes with envelope.
